Defiance College Softball
  2012 Winter Clinic Series

Get a jump on the 2012 spring season by joining the Defiance College Softball Team at our 10th Annual Winter Clinic Series.

The clinic offers players the opportunity to refine their talents and learn new skills and drills. There will be a short lecture in each session on proper fundamentals.

The Defiance College Softball team and coaches will offer their assistance throughout the clinic.

Date: Sunday, Feb. 12th Cost: $30.00 for one session, $45.00 for two sessions Additional Family Member Discount $10.00 off. Includes a t-shirt if pre-registered by Feb. 1st!
Beginners Pitching Grades: K-6th Time: 12:00-2:00 PM	Beginners Hitting Grades: K-6th Time: 2:00-4:00 PM
Advanced Hitting Grades: 7th-12th Time: 12:00-2:00 PM	Advanced Pitching Grades: 7th-12th Time: 2:00-4:00 PM

To ensure correct information, please register each child individually.

PITCHING

• Focus on proper mechanics, including grips, leg drive, arm motion, and follow-through
• Explanation, demonstration, and participation in drills to help increase speed and accuracy
• Grouping by grade in an effort to combine like skills, ability, and age
  
• Pitchers must bring a catcher

HITTING

• Focus on proper hitting mechanics
  
• Explanation, demonstration, and participation in stations to aid in breaking down the swing
  
• Proper technique for bunting and slapping
  
• DRILLS, DRILLS, DRILLS!!
